Irina was called to the Bar in 2016 and takes briefs to appear in Supreme Court, Federal Circuit and Family Court and Local Court.
She appeared in family provision, probate, bankruptcy, corporate insolvency, general equity and family law matters. In 2020 Irina took a break from the Bar for 14 months and held a position as a Senior Deputy Registrar in the role of Probate Registrar in the Supreme Court of NSW. In that role she was making decisions in relation to complex probate and administration matters; she also sat as a Common Law and Equity Registrar and presided over corporations examinations.
Irina also recently performed the role of an Acting Industrial Registrar in the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW.
Upon her return to the Bar, Irina currently practices mainly in probate and family provision matters.
Irina is a costs assessor.
She also regularly presents CPD seminars for solicitors on her areas of practice.
Andrew Paterson has represented clients in the superior courts for over 15 years. He became a member of the Victorian Bar in 1998 and became a member of the NSW Bar in 2001. While at the bar he has represented clients in a broad range of complex proceedings. Prior to coming to the bar, Andrew practiced as a solicitor at a number of firms. The last firm at which he worked was Deacons Graham & James (now, Deacons) in Melbourne. Among other matters he was the solicitor with the principal conduct of the successful class action brought by approximately 4,500 shareholders of Pyramid Building Society against the State of Victoria, the building society, its auditors, the Reserve Bank and others. Between 1982 and 1991 Andrew practiced as a Veterinary Surgeon.
Jason is a barrister of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia. Jason is the recipient of the Bachelor of Arts (Macq) (2006) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons 1) (UWS) (2009) degrees and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (COL) (2009). Jason graduated with the University Medal in his LLB degree at UWS. Jason was admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 2 July 2009. Jason has substantial legal experience. Jason has worked as a researcher to Professor Michael Adams (Dean of Law at UWS) (2008) and the Honourable Michael Kirby AC CMG (former Justice of the High Court of Australia) (2009-2010), Tipstaff to the Honourable Justice Peter McClellan AM QC (former Chief Judge at Common Law of the Supreme Court of New South Wales) (2010) and a lecturer-in-law at UWS (2009-). Jason has a strong concern for social justice and equality.
On 10 October 2024, Dr. Donnelly was appointed as a General Member of the Commonwealth Administrative Review Tribunal.
