Patricia has been working for clients for many years. Patricia commenced her solicitor’s practice, Patricia White and Associates in 1996. During that time, much of her work involved defending clients charged with criminal offences, including both at trial and appellate stages and she instructed Counsel for the appellants in the High Court cases of Azzopardi v R [2001] HCA 25, and Coleman v Power [2004] HCA 39. Patricia was called to the Bar in 2009 and continues to represent clients in litigation and in criminal matters in all jurisdictions. She has appeared as Junior Counsel in two High Court appeals in 2013: State of NSW v Gregory Kable [2013] HCA 26 and Wallace v Kam [2013] HCA 19.

Ivan Tam is a Barrister practising at Latham Chambers. He was called to the Bar in 2010 after pracitising as a Solicitor for 4 and a half years. Mr Tam is fluent both in English and Cantonese. Andrew Paterson has represented clients in the superior courts for over 15 years. He became a member of the Victorian Bar in 1998 and became a member of the NSW Bar in 2001. While at the bar he has represented clients in a broad range of complex proceedings. Prior to coming to the bar, Andrew practiced as a solicitor at a number of firms. The last firm at which he worked was Deacons Graham & James (now, Deacons) in Melbourne. Among other matters he was the solicitor with the principal conduct of the successful class action brought by approximately 4,500 shareholders of Pyramid Building Society against the State of Victoria, the building society, its auditors, the Reserve Bank and others. Between 1982 and 1991 Andrew practiced as a Veterinary Surgeon.

Dennis Flaherty was admitted to the New South Wales Bar in 1982 and has practiced continuously at the Sydney Bar since that time.
